Avery grew up in rural Illinois, moved to Chicago and was hired by Northwest Orient Airlines. There he met his wife, Meg. They moved to the Twin Cities in 1961 and have been here since. They have lived in Wayzata since 1997 and have 2 sons, Rich and Rob, who live close by.

Avery attended Metropolitan State University where he received a BA in Accounting.

Avery retired from Northwest Airlines in 2006 after spending the previous 8 years as a flight attendant. Those years were enjoyable because of the relationships made with passengers and fellow crew members.

Later that year Avery received his realtor’s license and has enjoyed the relationships that are built with clients either buying a first home or moving from one home to another. Communication, timeliness and trust are paramount and Avery will work hard for you to make sure the journey is pleasant.

In his free time, Avery enjoys golf, Lake Minnetonka, cooking and taking walks through Wayzata with Meg. They also get away to Tucson for occasional breathers from our Minnesota winters.
