Sandy Steiner was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, North Hennepin Community College and the University of Minnesota, majoring in Sociology. After fifteen years as a Legal Secretary with a large Minneapolis firm, Sandy changed careers and entered the real estate world. Her experience at a title company as an Assistant Closer and later as a licensed Assistant to a REALTOR was an excellent foundation for her sales career. Sandy has been named as "Super Real Estate Agent" by Mpls. St. Paul Magazine in 2007-2010. Only 4% of all licensed real estate agents in MN are selected to receive this award! As an agent, she loves working with buyers and sellers to make the real estate experience as stress free as possible. She is extremely well organized, a good listener, excellent communicator and is very conscientious. Sandy sets high standards for herself which are evident in her job performance. Sandy has worked extensively with relocating buyers in all price ranges and age groups. She is an aggressive advocate for all her clients and excels at personal service and attention to detail. Sandy and her husband, Chuck, live in Plymouth and have two daughters and four grandchildren. In their leisure time they enjoy theatre, movies, travel, concerts, reading, walking, biking and spending as much time as possible with their grandchildren. Her current volunteer efforts include serving on the Outreach Committee of Colonial Church and serving on the Interfaith Outreach affordable housing committee. She also tutors elementary children in reading. Past volunteer activities have included serving as an Entertainment Chair for Music in Plymouth and as a guardian ad litem for Hennepin County. She is also a 2009 member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Minneapolis Association of REALTORS and has both the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource) designations.
