Twyla has been in the real estate industry as a REALTOR since 1980. She began her career in Dana Point, California, moved back to Minnesota and started with Roger Fazendin REALTORS in 1983 where she has consistently been a sales leader. Twyla graduated from high school in a class of 13 in Chandler, Minnesota. She then attended the University of Minnesota and continues to take classes as time allows. She also attended Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. Her training is in accounting and bookkeeping. As this industry became more and more automated, she focused on a career where she could have more contact with people. Her bookkeeping background is very helpful in her real estate career.

Twyla works well in every aspect of real estate but has real talent in three areas. The first area is condominiums and townhomes. Twyla assists both Buyers and Sellers in condominiums/townhome sales and is a sales leader in all price ranges. The second is in new construction. She has sold a lot of new construction, reads blue prints well and can explain them to Buyers and Sellers. She also has vision to explain how changes can be made to the floor plans to accommodate the clients by listening and understanding just what it is that they want in their new home. Twyla works well with clients moving to Minnesota because of a transfer or job change and is very qualified to answer questions about the community.

Twyla enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, decorating, entertaining and tending plants. She also enjoys anything that will get her outside including fishing, biking and walking. She also is very actively involved in her church community.

Twyla volunteers at her church and serves as a lector, helps at funeral receptions and works with a program known as Families Moving Forward, which assists homeless families. She is also a panelist on the Professional Standards Committee at the Minnesota Association of REALTORS. This committee deals with agents charged with failure to follow the Code of Ethics or a panel that arbitrates commission disputes between agents

Twyla has been active in leadership roles at Roger Fazendin REALTORS. She served several years on the Management Advisory Team and in 2008 was awarded the Ann Brockhouse Award. Twyla was named by her peers to be the receipent of this award. It is awarded for high ethical and professional standards, supports fellow agents and staff and loyalty to Roger Fazendin REALTORS. Twyla does all of these things and does them well!
